Sophie Garrod

After taking a break from broadcasting, during which time she’s been involved in local pantomime and musical productions as well as moving into a new house, Sophie Garrod, one of South Norfolk Radio’s most popular presenters, returned to the airwaves in July 2023.

“Having been involved with the station since the early Radio Wymondham days, its a joy to finally have the time to get back behind the microphone once again” says Sophie. “And I’m looking forwards to playing many of my favourite tunes and artists which I hope are some of your favourites too. There’ll be diva’s and guilty pleasures, a new ‘Challenge Sophie’ feature and, of course, plenty of Kesha!”

Sophie hosts the new series of ‘The Sophie Sessions’ on Saturday mornings from 10.00 until Midday on South Norfolk Radio.
