I started DJing in 1976 as a small disco at small venues around Cambridge, wedding receptions, birthday parties, then went onto slightly bigger things MOD facilities, YMCA's high schools.
I also helped out some of the bigger roadshow' s Thundercloud Roadshow and Festival Time Roadshow at the Corn Exchange and Guildhall in Cambridge while tagging along with them I was asked to help out with maybe a double booking they had made.
On a few nights I had helped out with bookings with the likes of Dave Lee Travis, ( DLT ) ' Froggy' Robbie Vincent, Kid Jenson and Emperor Rosco.

I had about 10 really good years before things started to slow down and I eventually did my last gig in 1989.

I was at the point in life, 2006 where I needed a new challenge and I picked up a leaflet about ICR a community radio station in Suffolk I went along and had 3 days of training and stayed for about a year I then moves onto Hospital radio and then Felixstowe Community radio where I was the first voice officially to be heard after Ofcom passed us.
I was there for 8 years, I then in 2019 I found Radio Wymondham the best local radio station.

I play anything soul, jazz funk, old and new. 7-9 on Tuesday evenings.
